Girl and sketchbook page progression.

I post on this blog for me. For what ever reason I get something out of posting each day. If other people are watching great. If not - as I stated before I'm having fun. That said I feel like posting the progression of one of my sketchbook pages. I try and sketch at the end of each day. Usually I get about an hour in before sleep calls. I started this last night and I'll scan and post the progression each morning.

Monster hunter Raph

I did a frontispiece for an early issue of Tales of the TMNT V.2 featuring Raphael as a monster hunter ala Hellboy.
A few years later my buddy Pete Laird gave me a pencil drawing to ink up for the Toronto comicon (I think).
As I remember it - he suggested I add the monster hunter gear to Raph.
This is the final result - one of my favorite TMNT pieces.
