Sketchbook 100 - Con Splinter

Con report.

I had a great time at the NYC Comic Con. Overall the show was fun and I got to meet some nice people. I was a little worried when I got there and found out artist's alley was upstairs separate from the rest of the show. Didn't seem to make a difference though, my table was busy all 3 days. Sold a bunch of prints, a bunch of artwork, and signed a pile of TMNT stuff. My only real complaint is I didn't get to spend much time walking around the show.

Here are just some of the sketches I did over the weekend.

Laird - Talbot NYC Comic Con Print!

The print is finished and being printed as I type this. This is a limited edition print run of 50 signed and numbered by Pete and myself for $10 - I'll have them with me tomorrow afternoon in artist's alley when the show opens.

I will also have some original art for sale. I've done a bunch of sketching over the last month or so to get ready for the show. I'll be finishing them in artist alley. If anyone's interested stop by table A231.

Peter Laird pencils for NYC Comic Con print!

My buddy Peter Laird and I are doing a limited edition print for the 2007 NYC Comic Con. Pete dropped off the pencils and they ROCK! I'm going to work on this over the weekend and will post the progress as I go. I'll have the final print with me in artist's alley next week. Check back for more details.
